I first met Teresa and Paul in February at one of the wedding fairs I regularly attend. We hit it off straight away, talking through their plans for their wedding and how they envisioned the day unfolding. This gave me a clear insight into what they had in mind for their wedding day and I was confident I could deliver photos which met their expectations.

Katie and Michael were married on the 4th February 2015 at All Saints Church, Springfield, followed by a reception at Newland Hall. My final wedding of 2017 was Helen and Andy’s stunning day at Stoke by Nayland Golf and Country Club. It was the perfect way to round off a busy (and great!) year of weddings. Taking place a couple of days before New Year’s Eve, their twilight ceremony took place at 5pm, so with limited lighting, I enjoyed the challenge of getting more creative with their photos.

Francesca and Nathan’s gorgeous Mountains Country House Wedding, Maidstone, Kent, just a few days before Christmas, and what a fabulous festive day it was. On the morning of the wedding, I arrived at Francesca’s parents’ house, where the bridal party were preparing for the day. I used the time to snap some detail and getting ready shots, before joining Nathan and the groomsmen, ahead of the ceremony at Mountains Country House.

WOW! Another year has passed by in the blink of an eye. While the January blues may have hit many of us hard this year, I’ve been using the time to reflect on an amazing year that’s passed. Somewhat an annual tradition now, it’s nice to look back and pick out a few highlights from the previous year. And what a year 2017 was.
